AMD

AMD is NVIDIA's most credible merchant-silicon competitor in AI training and inference. In October 2025 it signed a 6-gigawatt supply partnership with OpenAI, with the first gigawatt of Instinct MI450 accelerators deploying from the second half of 2026, and issued OpenAI a warrant for up to 160 million AMD shares vesting against deployment and share-price milestones.
